Deedee Desserts
If you sometimes go to home improvement shows, you'll sometimes see people there who aren't really part of the mix, and yet what they have to offer is pretty good.
This was the case with Deedee Desserts. These are small packets of flavored mixes
that you add cream cheese and whipped topping to, and turn them into spectacular no bake cheesecake that's smooth as anything you've ever put in
your mouth.. In my case, the whipped topping of choice is Cool Whip, which is also what's recommended on the mix.
The best thing about these mixes, other than the taste, is that they only take 5 minutes to make, and then all you need to do is let it chill and
thicken, and life is sweet. It's easy to do; just mix the ingredients together, scoop the mix into a premade graham cracked crust, and you're good to go.
There are 20 different flavors, and I've tried seven of them thus far. Oddly enough, I happen to love chocolate and peanut butter, but the fruit
flavors are actually the best. My favorite flavor is the lemon chiffon mix, closely followed by key lime and cherry almond. My wife loved the
creamsicle and lemon chiffon as her favorites. At some point I hope to have the opportunity to taste some of the others, although, me being picky,
I can't see myself eating spiced pumpkin or tropical cheesecake (mango; what does mango taste like anyway?) The taste really is wonderful; so much
so that I didn't even notice that my wife has snuck in the light version of the cream cheese.
