LifeTrek Provisions

Life Trek Provisions is a weekly email newsletter produced by LifeTrek Coaching International. I've been a subscriber for just over three years now, and I have to admit that I look forward to reading it.

The main writers are Bob & Megan Tschannen-Moran, the founders of the company in 1998. Usually the first article is written by Bob, and it's always the best article in my opinion. Over the years he has used himself as the impetus for his topic. One series of articles revolved around his training for a running event.

He's often had interviews with people he's coached and shown how coaching has helped them in their lives, both professional and personal. I've found these interviews to be the most valuable to me on many fronts, because they show how even the most successful people will seek out help from someone when they feel they're not achieving the kind of life they'd hoped for. Yet he also talks to people who are on the lower financial or emotional levels, trying to find their way, and how they have grown and achieved in ways that they had never imagined, or thought was possible, before receiving coaching assistance.

After that, the newsletter breaks off into other articles, book reviews, readers forum comments, etc. Some of them are pretty good, such as recommendations on working out, eating, and relaxing. Every once in awhile there's something on raising children, or interacting with others.

This is an easy recommend, if only for the main article Bob writes each week. I dare you not to learn something, or be inspired by something, that he has to share with you each week. Don't be scared by the frequency of the newsletter, which might occur once you see the length of the main article each week. And please decide to check out the rest of LifeTrek's site, which is replete with articles, poems, and audio, and the company offers a free coaching session. There's nothing to lose and everything to gain by visiting this site and subscribing to this newsletter.
