Top Four Online
Survey Companies
Everyone needs to read this now; you are NOT going to make thousands of dollars from completing online surveys. It's just
not going to happen. The reason it's not going to happen is because every survey company first does a pre-screen to determine if
you're even worthy to complete the real survey. Some of the survey companies do it within the first 4 or 5 questions; others
might ask you 20 before disqualifying you. You play by their rules, no questions asked.
Still, I like taking surveys sometimes, and some of them do actually pay you some money. Here are my top four recommendations for
online survey companies:
Zoompanel has gone through a bunch of different names, but it's a legitimate survey
company. I get the most amount of survey opportunities from this company, and you get the opportunity to earn points, which goes
towards free goodies. Most of the time, if you qualify, you'll earn anywhere from 25 to 75 points. With just 1,000 points, you
can start requesting stuff, but the more points you can put together, the better the items are that you can request. Once you
reach 10,000, you can buy anything from any of the levels, which they call "folios". I've received things from them that aren't
bad, so they're totally legitimate.
The best thing about their surveys is that they'll disqualify you quickly if you don't fit in, and then you get to take your
chance with something they call "Spin To Win", which gives you an opportunity to win gift cards, points, or merchandise. And,
it has a second service it calls Zoomerang where you can create your own surveys, if you
have an interest in doing that sort of thing.
NPD Online Research is another survey company that offers prizes and allows you to
accumulate points that you can use to enter sweepstakes and earn even more prizes. I get one survey a week from them most of the
time, sometimes a second survey. This company is mostly interested in your buying habits for the previous week, asking a series
of questions as to whether you bought certain types of products, food, etc. If you answer yes to any of them, then you're asked
further questions; if not, usually you're asked if you purchased gasoline or any other item from a convenience store attached to
a gas station. When you're done, you get the opportunity to spin a different type of wheel for something it calls Sweepland,
which is where you use any points you've accumulated for those sweepstakes.
Lightspeed Consumer Panel is another survey company that offers a lot of
surveys one can complete. You can get a lot of surveys from them also, but every once in awhile, one of their surveys doesn't
work for some reason. Many times they disqualify you quickly, but often they go through a second series of questions before
disqualifying you, which can be somewhat irritating because, if you're disqualified, they tell you that you've earned an entry
into their $5,000 monthly sweepstakes, which they sometimes tell you when you actually get to answer questions. Other times, you
actually get points, which leads you to opportunities to actually get cash, as well as items, gift certificates, and coupons.
However, accumulating points is time consuming, since you're not always offered points for every survey you take. Still, cash
is cash, even if it's not a lot.
Harris Poll Online benefits from having the most famous name of the bunch,
and you don't get overwhelmed by surveys from them. You also don't get disqualified from any of their surveys, but it does depend
how far you go as to whether you earn points or an entry into a sweepstake. Your points goes towards prizes, which aren't bad,
and this is the only survey company where I've actually accumulated so many points that I can actually get the best items they
have available.
All in all, if you like surveys, you can't go wrong with any of the above. But realize that these are some of the better ones, so
please, don't fall for any of those "earn lots of money doing surveys" scams.
